Mr Goodluck Temu

Mr Goodluck Temu is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Private Law. He joined the School in 2012 as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.M-Hons), 2012 and Master of Laws (LL.M), 2013, from University of Dar es Salaam. In 2016, he obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. Currently, Mr Temu is pursuing PhD studies in Competition and Telecommunications Law at Bayreuth University, Germany.

Mr Temu’s areas of interests are on competition law, telecommunications law and consumer protection. He has also been teaching the law of contract since 2012. Apart from his teaching responsibilities, Mr Temu has been engaged with the Tanzania-German Centre for Eastern Africa Legal Studies (TGCL) under the School of Law. He was an Assistant to the Coordinator in Tanzania from 2014-2017. Currently, Mr Temu works as a student assistant at TGCL’s German office. Mr Temu is also an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. He is a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths. He is a member of Tanganyika Law Society and East Africa Law Society, Bar Associations for Tanzania mainland and East African countries respectively.
